Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Efferil enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Efferil was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
