His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in kukri use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
