Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by giants. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Gardener profession.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult
