He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ahvain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
