Personality: Quarion hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Quarion was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Quarion alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Halimath is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
