He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his whip, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are brown.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Vanuath is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
