Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 5'4". He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and his gloved hand is found clutching a whip. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Ruler who has hired him part-time. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Ruler. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His tied-back hair is golden. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Efferil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Efferil was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
