He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Masseuse, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Lamlis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lamlis studied abroad. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. After a long history of fighting, Lamlis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
