Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Varis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
