History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Raer alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
