Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Theren's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Laucian liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
