Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has shaved his head bald. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Detective born in the past three hundred years. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Paelias was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Detective. Recently the stress of being a Detective has made it difficult for him to sleep.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a strong sense of loyalty to elven people

Description: He stands about 4'7" and tends to wear a large red jacket. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was born into a rich family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Rolen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
