History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Vanuath enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Vanuath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
