Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
