Description: An older man who has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe, he is not a threatening figure. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is wearing a long, white cloak. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Naeris is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Naeris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naeris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
