Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aelar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
