History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aelar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: A 5'4" southern man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Theren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Theren and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Nim's homeland. Nim decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
