History: Dreali lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Varis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
