History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Korfel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Lucan will drive conversation. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
