Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is long and golden with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he wants revenge against illithids
