Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
