History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born in the west to a Seamstress, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
