He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He prefers to carry a halberd, but if one is not available he will default to his longbow, and carries longbows. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Rael is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rael does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When Rael reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
