History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
