After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ahvain was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Ahvain and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bowyer and was forced into it by his family; and to find somewhere to settle down
