Description: An older man who sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His ears are large.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Rolen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Rolen was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Rolen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has money and likes to spend it
