History: Aust hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
