History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Locksmith for hire.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Efferil does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Efferil began to lead the lost caravan. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.
