History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. He has taken up work as a Crown-heir and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Naal has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
