History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mindartis grew up listening to his father's many stories. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.
