Personality: Mindartis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has no hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
