Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Theren learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Carter soon after.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and sabotage a competitor
