Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Raer is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Raer and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Raer discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Raer fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Heian liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
