History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the south to a Knight, Peren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
