Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Rael was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and someone believes him a fraud
