History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Korfel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Korfel never married again.
