History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Cartwright, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second son.

Description: 4'9" and muscular, this northern man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes peer out from beneath his feathered violet hat.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Gennal was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
