History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Description: An older man who wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times, he is not a threatening figure. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Mindartis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: He was born in the west. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
