History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Peren and his spouse have recently divorced.
