Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bellfounder business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Theriatis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is wearing a long, yellow cloak. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears a red costume with the symbols of luck on his torso. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
