Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Heian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Painter. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
