History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Soveliss grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Soveliss. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Gennal and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gennal discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gennal fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
