Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is dressed in an above average manner. His hair is auburn and curly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is a Shepherd first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Tharivol learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in pickaxe use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Tharivol was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
