His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. He has brown eyes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Paelias will drive conversation. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He got into the Body Guard business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He has achieved small success as a Body Guard.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Arannis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and doesn't want to be a shipwright and was forced into it by his family
