History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Mindartis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and revenge

History: Ahvain lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
