Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His hair is red and curly. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Revenge; and balancing his hectic life and new healer responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is lean but muscular and dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with black slacks. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has green eyes.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. He has chestnut hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sailor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern
