Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Interpreter who has hired him part-time. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Interpreter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Ahvain hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He worked as a nervous Dyer and found it very stressful. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
