History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Gardener responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
