Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adran does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a Cook, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was a Cook, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
