History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rael grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the north to a Bather, Efferil learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Berrian is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
